About The Book

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Just like any other journey, the Christian spiritual journey has a starting point: Repentance From Dead Works. In this edition, this crucial starting point is explained. The key issue of the need for repentance, the related issue of dead works, and the importance of faith, its nature, and its application in the life of a Christian are explained and set forth. Without an understanding of these key issues, the journey of a Christian becomes shaky, like a building without a strong foundation. Repentance From Dead Works and Faith Towards God are the first two of the six foundational instructions listed in Hebrews 6:1-2 that constitute the journey of a Christian from this life to eternity. A journey has a destination: What is your destination after the end of this life, and how can one journey successfully from this life to eternity?

The work of a chaplain is to give comfort and hope. As a Chaplain, I have discovered there's a very, very deep need. The need is to give assurance. Consider that people who are nearing death need comfort and hope.
